Mitt Romney: US will stand with Israel
US Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has made strongly pro-Israeli comments on a visit to the country.
Mr Romney said he would ''respect'' an Israeli military strike on a nuclear-armed Iran, saying it was right for the US to stand with Israel.
He also angered Palestinians when he referred to Jerusalem as the country's capital. The BBC's Mark Mardell reports.
