Aurora suspect James Holmes 'bought guns legally'

The man suspected of killing 12 people and injuring 58 more in a shooting at cinema in Colorado purchased his weapons legally.

Aurora Police Chief Dan Oates said that James Holmes had also obtained thousands of rounds of ammunition.

He was said to be armed with a rifle, a shotgun and two pistols when he launched his assault.
