Residents on their experiences of the Colorado wildfires

Residents in Colorado who lost their homes in the enormous wildfires in the state have been speaking about their experiences.

Many people also took footage of the flames as the fires reached their homes.

Tens of thousands of people have been evacuated and hundreds of houses have been destroyed across the region.

President Obama has issued a disaster declaration for the state, as authorities continue to tackle the flames.
