George Washington's copy of constitution sells for $10m
A book owned by George Washington, containing his own annotated copy of the constitution - has sold for nearly $10m at an auction in New York - more than three times what it was expected to fetch.
The new owner is the Mount Vernon Ladies' Association, which paid a final price of $9,826,500, Christie's later revealed.
