Florida teen recovering after spear gun accident

A teenager in south Florida is recovering after being accidentally shot in the head with a fishing spear.

Yasser Lopez, 16, was spear fishing when his friend's device went off, entering his brain over his right eye.

Lopez was airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, where doctors spent three hours removing the spear.

They said it was a miracle that no vital brain functions were damaged in the accident.
