Reality TV show causes a stir in US Persian community
Los Angeles is home to the largest number Iranians outside Iran, and a new reality TV show is following the lives of one group.
The Shahs of Sunset follows the lives of a group of Persians in Los Angeles, but there are some within the community who are appalled at the what the show depicts.
They say they are being portrayed as either scary religious fanatics or party animals, and this is not their culture.
Alastair Leithead reports.
