Looking for someone? Bear drops in on namesake apartments

Students at the University of Colorado in Boulder spotted a bear roaming near their accommodation block, aptly named Bear Creek.

Eyewitness Rhonda Chesnutt says the animal then ran into her, before escaping up a tree.

State Parks and Wildlife rangers positioned mats below, before tranquilising the bear, which then fell to safety.

The animal was checked out and later released back into Colorado's high country.
