Arms dealer Viktor Bout to appeal against conviction

Arms dealer Viktor Bout is to appeal against his conviction for attempting to sell heavy arms to a Colombian rebel group.

The 45-year-old was sentenced to 25 years in jail by a US judge.

His lawyer, Albert Dayan, confirmed that his client maintained his innocence after the sentencing.
