Vice President Joe Biden describes Somali hostage raid
Two foreign aid workers kidnapped in Somalia three months ago have been freed in a rare US military raid there.
Speaking on ABC's Good Morning America, US Vice President Joe Biden confirmed that elite US Navy Seals were dropped into Somalia to carry out the overnight operation.
President Obama gave the operation the go-ahead, and called US aid worker Jessica Buchanan's father to tell him she was safe.
