Plane crashes on Vancouver street in Canada

A small plane broke into pieces as it crashed on a city street while approaching Vancouver airport in Canada on Thursday, injuring all nine people aboard and a person on the ground. Nobody was killed.

Five people were taken to Vancouver General Hospital in a critical condition. A pedestrian was also sent to hospital after being struck by a flying object.

The plane, a Beech King Air 100, can carry up to nine passengers.
