Help

In an attempt to help those in East Africa, the Obama administration on Monday approved more than $100m in humanitarian aid.

The announcement came as the vice president's wife Jill Biden was assessing the situation first hand in Kenya.

Former US senator and medical doctor Bill Frist has recently returned from the region.

Speaking to the BBC, Dr Frist discussed his trip to Kenya and what he sees as the most urgent needs.
