The woman who has accused former IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn of sexual assault says she has cried every day since the alleged attack.

Nafissatou Diallo, who was working as a maid in a New York hotel where Mr Strauss-Kahn was staying, told reporters she and her daughter cry every day, and that she is finding it difficult to sleep.

Ms Diallo revealed her identity earlier this week, saying she wanted to clear her name from accusations that her allegation against Strauss-Kahn was financially motivated.
