St Patrick's Day: Irish downturn swells US community
In the Woodlawn neighbourhood of the Bronx, four in 10 residents have Irish ancestry.
Lately, that number seems to be increasing a little, say store owners and residents there.
A rough Irish economy is driving many families who had returned to Ireland back to this northern part of New York City, and the BBC has gone to take a look.
