President Obama has paid tribute to the victims of Saturday's shooting in Arizona.

Speaking at a memorial in Tucson, Mr Obama also said that Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, who was shot in the attack, had opened her eyes for the first time since the incident.

Six people were killed and several wounded when a gunman opened fire outside a shopping centre in Tucson.
