Over the border: US firearms in Mexican drug war

The drug wars in Mexico reached another grim milestone this week as the number of murders in the border city of Juarez passed 3,000 for this year.

Most of the guns used by the cartels originate in America, where firearms laws are more relaxed.

The BBC's Steve Kingstone has travelled to Houston to follow the route of the traffickers.
