Nepal holds mass rallies to stop violence against women

Help

In a move that mirrors neighbouring India, Nepal has been holding mass rallies to try to stop violence against women.

The protests were sparked by the case of a young woman who says she was robbed and raped by a policeman.

Pictures are only emerging now of the protests which have continued for more than a week.

Alpa Patel reports.
