Prince at attacked Afghan base

Help

The Taliban has attacked a base in southern Afghanistan where Prince Harry is stationed, killing two US marines.

A Taliban spokesman said they targeted Camp Bastion in Helmand Province in revenge for a film mocking Islam.

Nato told Reuters news agency the prince, who is marking his 28th birthday, "was never in any danger".

Jonathan Beale reports from Kabul.
