A 3D erotic comedy has taken Hong Kong's box office by storm, overtaking Hollywood blockbuster Avatar on takings.

Vivienne Chow, senior culture reporter for the South China Morning Post, told BBC Radio 5 live: "Erotica has a long history in Hong Kong cinema."

"It's billed as the first 3D erotica," Chow explained to Dotun Adebayo on Up All Night.

"People just want to see what it's like to watch all those love scenes on the big screen wearing those glasses."
