Can Bhutan's king visit every rural household?


As Prince William prepares to marry Kate Middleton, the BBC has been looking at other monarchies around the world.

The King of Bhutan, or 'King 5' as he is known, is the world's youngest monarch.

He also has marriage on his mind but at the moment his priority is to visit every rural household in his kingdom, helping to solve issues by signing a royal decree.

But will this help the monarchy remain popular and relevant in a changing Bhutan?

The BBC's Rupa Jha has been following his journey so far and was given exclusive footage of the King on his mission.
