Obama backs India's UN permanent seat ambition

President Barack Obama has backed India's ambition for permanent membership of the United Nations Security Council.

In a speech to the Indian parliament in Delhi, he said he would "look forward to a reformed UN Security Council that includes India as a permanent member".
