Imran Khan: 'It was right to suspend cricket players'

The former Pakistan captain, Imran Khan, has said that the International Cricket Council (ICC) was right to suspend the players accused of taking part in a betting scam while an investigation into the allegations takes place.

The ICC suspended Mohammad Amir, Mohammad Asif and Salman Butt for "alleged irregular behaviour" and all three have been questioned under caution by police in London over allegations of corruption.

Mr Khan told the BBC's Aleem Maqbool that he has never seen the Pakistani people so demoralised.
