UN secretary general: Pakistan floods a global disaster
UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has again appealed for more donations to help flood-hit Pakistan, saying the situation there was "a global disaster"
He told an emergency session of the General Assembly in New York that almost 20 million people affected by the flooding in Pakistan needed shelter and other assistance.
