Hillary Clinton: We will stand with Pakistan
US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has promised that America will stand by flood-stricken Pakistan.
Speaking at a special emergency session of the UN, she said: "We will be with you as rivers rise and fall; we will be with you as you re-plant your fields and repair your roads".
She spoke of the scale of the disaster in Pakistan and said things were likely to get worse before they got better.
