Pakistani Marines have been working round the clock to rescue villagers trapped by the region's worst deluge in 80 years.

Flood survivors have bitterly accused the authorities of failing to come to their rescue.

More than 14 million people are thought to have been affected so far, with the monsoon rains showing little sign of abating.
