Sherpas tackle Everest 'death zone' rubbish dump
A team of 20 Nepalese climbers has braved the heights of Everest's "death zone" to remove rubbish left by explorers.
Many Nepali and foreign climbers have tried to clean up the mountain in the past but Namgyal Sherpa, leader of the Extreme Everest Expedition 2010, said no one had dared to clean above 8,000 meters (26,246 feet) before.
The team filmed its expedition before showing footage to the Nepalese Tourism Board, to illustrate how junk is becoming exposed as global warming causes snow to melt.
