Author Simon Garfield charts history of letter writing

Simon Garfield is a writer of entertaining non-fiction books, covering everything from the history of chemical dyes to Radio One.

His new book, To The Letter, is a history of the endangered art of letter writing.

He tells the BBC's Nick Higham why letter writing is so important.
