The art behind furniture
Tom Dyckhoff explores how the furniture in our home forms part of a chain of design stretching back through the centuries.
He visits the Furniture Gallery at London's Victoria and Albert Museum which boasts a 3,500 year old table leg from Egypt and more modern pieces created by a 3D printer. Tom discovers how the techniques used by artisans of the past can inspire the furniture of the future.
