Working Lives Turkey: Blacksmith
Erol Gurban makes his living from Turkey's love affair with kebabs.
He doesn't own a restaurant or sell kebabs from a street stall however - he makes the skewers that the meat-lovers' favourite comes on.
He did not choose to become a blacksmith, but after 45 years making the skewers, he has nothing but enjoyment for his job.
"I love doing this. If I retire, I know I will feel empty," he says.
