Researchers at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland are looking at how unpredictable working hours and stress affect our diet and the impact this has on our health.

Variable stress levels and shift work have long been a feature of life for the emergency services, and the firefighters of Blue Watch in Aberdeen are no exception.

The firefighters reveal how they snack instead of eating proper meals and crave convenience foods, particularly on a night shift.

The Health Show is broadcast on BBC World News on Saturdays at 1010 and 2010 GMT and on Sundays at 0710 and 2310 GMT. The programme is supported by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
