Scientists in the Netherlands have discovered that mosquitoes are particularly attracted to smelly feet.

They are isolating the odours that the mosquitoes find most attractive and producing a chemical product to entice and then kill them.

Used regularly this product will reduce their population, as they are unable to reproduce as quickly as this product removes them.
