Six people in different jobs in booming Taiwan talk about their lives.

Jimmy Chen turned his back on a banking career because he realised he was only doing it to please his parents. He's now launched an internet start-up company to create new social networking sites in Taiwan.

He started the business with his friends; most Taiwanese would have taken the less risky option of working for a big established firm. He says the Taiwanese need to take more risks and create their own global brands, rather than just building other people's.
