Kurds make gains against Islamic State in northern Iraq

Kurdish fighters in northern Iraq say they are regaining ground against the forces of Islamic State in the area.

The Peshmerga fighters claim to have taken back three villages from the Islamic extremist militants, with the help of Iraqi warplanes.

Jim Muir reports from Baqarta where other Kurdish fighters have re-captured territory from Islamic State.
