Gaza conflict: Reports of strike on Gaza amid truce

4 August 2014 Last updated at 23:57 BST

A partial truce slowed violence in Gaza on Monday, but Palestinian officials said a young girl was killed in an airstrike which injured at least 15 others.

Two attacks on Israelis were reported in Jerusalem and Israel said militant rocket fire from Gaza had continued.

Health officials in Gaza say more than 1,800 Palestinians have been killed in the four-week conflict, which has also claimed 67 Israeli lives. A Thai national working in Israel was also killed.

Orla Guerin reports from the al-Shifa hospital in Gaza City.
