Riyad Mansour: 'We want to see fundamental changes'

The UN Security Council has called for an "immediate and unconditional humanitarian ceasefire" in Gaza.

Speaking after the meeting, the Palestinian representative to the UN, Riyad Mansour, has said he "wants to see fundamental changes for his people".

An emergency session approved a call for a truce over the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Fitr "and beyond".
