The death toll in Baghdad continues to rise as thousands of Shia men volunteer in the fight against Sunni rebels.

Iraqi security forces found the bullet-riddled bodies of 53 men in a mainly Shia area south of the city on Wednesday.

The BBC's Jeremy Bowen visits Baghdad's main morgue, hearing how it is struggling to cope due to a lack of space.

First broadcast on BBC Radio 4's Today programme on Thursday 10 July.
