Syria crisis: BBC witnesses escape from siege suburb

The BBC's chief international correspondent has witnessed a tide of Syrians fleeing a suburb which has been under siege for nine months.

Thousands of civilians have only now been allowed to leave Moadamiya, just outside Damascus, where they have been living without food.

Lyse Doucet hears their stories of starvation and suffering.
