Syria: Alawite villages attacked by rebels, say rights group

The campaign group Human Rights Watch has accused Syrian Islamist rebel groups of carrying out war crimes during an offensive in August.

The New York based organisation says that Syrian rebel groups killed more than 190 civilians when they captured a number of Alawite villages near the border with Turkey.
