'Moderate' Iran open to US talks

US President Barack Obama has welcomed the "moderate" stance of new Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.

Mr Rouhani, who was elected earlier this year, has pledged a more open approach in international affairs, and told the UN General Assembly that his country "posed absolutely no threat to the world"
