24 September 2013 Last updated at 23:22 BST

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has said the country is not a threat to the region or the world but an anchor of stability.

In a speech to the UN General Assembly on Tuesday, Mr Rouhani said there were new hopes for dialogue rather than conflict and moderation over extremism.

He said: "Nuclear weapons and other weapons of mass destruction have no place in Iran's security and defence doctrine."
