Egyptian security forces and militants clash in Kerdasa

Egyptian security forces have clashed with militants in the town of Kerdasa on the outskirts of Cairo.
Police and army entered the town, which is a stronghold for Muslim Brotherhood supporters, in the early morning,
The gun battles that ensued killed one senior police chief.
