19 September 2013 Last updated at 07:27 BST

Noted Iranian human rights lawyer Nasrin Sotoudeh has been released from prison.

She is among 11 political prisoners reported to have been freed including reformist politician Mohsen Aminzadeh.

The move comes just days before Iran's new President Hassan Rouhani visits New York for the UN General Assembly.

The BBC's Huong Ly spoke to Ms Sotoudeh just four hours after she was released.
