UN confirms sarin gas used in Syria rocket attack

The UN has said that its investigations have confirmed that sarin gas was used in a rocket attack in the Syrian capital, Damascus.

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon has described the attack in August as "a war crime", but refused to attribute blame.
