Syria crisis: 'Appropriate reaction' needed, says Hollande

The French President Francois Hollande has said the international community must react "appropriately" following last week's chemical attack in Syria.

Mr Hollande, speaking after a meeting with the head of Syria's main opposition group Ahmad Jarba, said a political solution could not be found until the Syrian coalition was capable of standing as an alternative to President Assad's government.
