Iran's Hasan Rouhani calls for nuclear recognition

Iran's president-elect has said the US must recognise his country's nuclear rights if there are to be direct talks between the two.

Hasan Rouhani told a news conference his surprise victory was the start of a new era for Iran, but that the country would not not suspend uranium enrichment activities.
