A building boom has been taking place in the Egyptian countryside, as companies and individuals take advantage of failures in law enforcement since the revolution that toppled Hosni Mubarak.
Illegal construction is threatening the country's already limited food resources at a time of economic turmoil and rising prices, as Rob Young reports.
