Peace envoy Lakhdar Brahimi: 'UN must act on Syria'
Syria is being destroyed "bit by bit" with grave consequences for the wider region, peace envoy Lakhdar Brahimi has warned.
Speaking in Washington, the UN-Arab League envoy urged the Security Council to act.
His comments came just hours after evidence emerged of a fresh massacre in the northern city of Aleppo.
