Aleppo's citizens struggle as winter sets in


As the second anniversary of the start of the Arab uprisings approaches a diplomatic push is underway to support Syria's opposition.

President Barack Obama has said the US now formally recognises Syria's main opposition coalition as "the legitimate representative" of the Syrian people

The BBC's Ian Pannell has been to the devastated city of Aleppo to see what conditions are like for anti-government fighters and ordinary citizens as winter closes in.
