Opponents of Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi are considering their response to his decision to drop a controversial move to expand his powers - while sticking with a planned constitutional reform.
Opposition leaders are due to meet to co-ordinate their response to the president's latest move, which follows days of demonstrations.
The president's critics accuse him of acting like a dictator, but he says he is safeguarding the revolution.
The BBC's Shaimaa Khalil says President Morsi's opponents warn he has not heeded their main complaint, by refusing to drop the issue of constitutional reform.
