Opposition leaders: Egypt draft constitution is 'garbage'

Help

Tens of thousands of Egyptians have taken to Cairo's Tahrir Square in protest over a new draft constitution.

It was rushed through the Islamist-dominated assembly in the early hours of Friday morning.

It comes just a week after President Morsi assumed powers that he maintained were going to be temporary.

His opponents claim his actions amount to a coup against democracy.

Jon Leyne reports.
