The area that could become Cairo's own Chinatown
Ahmed Saeed Street has become the centre of the Chinese community in Cairo, with residents saying there has been a sharp increase in the number of immigrants to the area in the last five years.
The street's proximity to the Al Azhar University means it attracts Chinese students who go to Egypt to study Islam.
With restaurants and other businesses trying to cater specifically for this community, some believe the area could eventually become Cairo's own Chinatown.
